About the role
Our trading team keeps a huge daily selection of events priced and running, with 30+ markets on each event in most disciplines. As a Sports Trading Analyst, you'll monitor pre-match and live markets, react to in-game events and data feed issues, and manage risk within clear limits. This is a shift-based role in a team that provides 24/7 coverage, with schedules planned well in advance.
What you will do
- Monitor pre-match and live markets across sports such as football, cricket, basketball and esports
- Adjust prices and suspend or reopen markets in response to live events and data feed issues
- Track liabilities and customer activity, and escalate unusual patterns to the risk team
- Verify results and support accurate, timely settlement
- Analyze performance by sport and market, and suggest improvements to pricing and coverage
- Share knowledge across shifts through clear, structured handovers
What you will need
- 1–3 years of experience in sports trading, odds compiling, risk or a similar analytical role
- Deep knowledge of at least two major sports, ideally including football or cricket
- Strong numerical skills and a good understanding of probability and margins
- The ability to stay calm, focused and accurate during busy live events
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Availability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and some nights
Nice to have
- Knowledge of esports or other niche disciplines
- SQL or Python for data analysis
- Experience with trading platforms and third-party data feeds
- Fluency in additional languages
